I am an aviation expert, transport engineer and writer with more than 30 years of experience in commercial aviation, destination development and regional accessibility.
Throughout my career I have worked at the intersection of airlines, airports, tourism and regional development, helping build stronger international connectivity and sustainable growth.
Today I work with strategic air transport development for the Tampere Region while continuing to write about aviation, logistics, technology and society.

Although aviation has shaped much of my career, curiosity has always been the driving force behind it. I enjoy connecting seemingly unrelated subjects, asking questions, and looking for the bigger picture.

The Road Here
There has never been a master plan. Looking back, every role, every challenge and every unexpected opportunity has added another piece to the puzzle. Some lessons came from success, others from failure, but all of them have shaped the person I am today.
If there is one common thread running through my career, it is curiosity. Curiosity has taken me from airline operations to strategy, marketing, engineering, regional development and, more recently, to writing. And I still feel there is much more to learn.
Life beyond the runway
